3MTT Update – As the 3 million technical talent program gradually unfolds, the Nigerian government through the federal ministry has outlined series of steps it would take for the advancement of the program.
What is 3MTT (3 Million Technical Talent)
3 million technical talent, an initiative by the Bola Ahmed Tinubu led administration has a sole aim: to educate youths on diverse tech skills which would be impactful in their given career path.
The first cohort of the program, which accommodated over 10 thousand applicants saw individuals gain mastery over some high demand tech skills.
After successful completion of the program, applicants would be placed on an Industrial training program (IT) WHICH will last for months.
3 Million Technical Talent (TMTT) Recent Updates For March 2024
All selected fellows for the cohort 2, 3, and 4 phase are advised to complete a brief profile update for the time being.
The program’s second phase which is currently ongoing would last for three months.
During this timeframe, applicants will go on a journey to acquires technical skills needed to thrive.
This phase of the program will focus on the following 12 technical skills, with the
possiblity of a few more being added:
