Federal Government Boosts NYSC Corps Members’ Allowance

• July 29, 2024: President Bola Tinubu signed the new Minimum Wage Bill into law, stipulating a minimum wage of N70,000.
• September 25, 2024: National Salaries, Incomes and Wages Commission Chairman Ekpo Nta approved the increased allowance in a letter.
• September 26, 2024: NYSC publicly announced the approval via a press statement.
