Several items recovered from the titanic wreckage decades ago are now being displayed as artefacts at diverse museums worldwide.
Photos of some of the decade old artefacts obtained by Ogbonoblog’s top correspondent, Chisom Samuel showed diverse items owned by occupants of the titanic ship which had sank in the north Atlantic ocean, in the early morning hours of 15 April 1912.

Explainer: Why The Titanic Sank
The Titanic was a British passenger liner that tragically sank on its maiden voyage from Southampton to New York in 1912. The ship, touted as unsinkable, struck an iceberg on the night of April 14-15, 1912, leading to its eventual sinking. The disaster resulted in the loss of more than 1,500 lives, making it one of the deadliest maritime disasters in history.
Several factors contributed to the tragedy, including the ship’s high speed in iceberg-infested waters, a lack of adequate safety measures, and a shortage of lifeboats.
Also it was said that the Titanic’s owner had initially boasted that nothing could sink his million dollar ship.
What Happens Next
The titanic sinking had a profound impact on maritime safety regulations and led to the establishment of the International Ice Patrol to monitor iceberg danger in the North Atlantic ocean.
Also you would recall that in 2023, a group of explorers aboard a submarine died after their carrier imploded deep inside the ocean.
OceanGate CEO Stockton Rush, Pakistani businessman Shahzada Dawood, his 19-year-old son Suleman, billionaire adventurer Hamish Harding and French explorer Paul-Henri Nargeolet reportedly lost their lives in the implosion.
