The Lagos State Police Commissioner, Olarenwaju Ishola, and Department of State Service Director, Dapo Amao, have issued a stern warning against unlawful activities during the planned October 1 protest.

Ishola emphasizes that protesters’ rights will be respected, while miscreants will not be tolerated. “Protesting is your legitimate right, and we’ll protect you,” he stated during a town hall meeting with stakeholders and security agencies.
Meanwhile, the police commissioner reassures residents of police presence, warning against chaos and property destruction. Consequently, protests will be restricted to one location.
