Born on March 25, 1949, in Onitsha, Anambra State, Uzodike was a shining star from a young age. He graduated from the University of Lagos with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and later obtained an MBA from Harvard Business School, USA. His entrepreneurial spirit and vision led him to establish Cutix Plc, which became one of the world’s best cable production companies.
Uzodike’s leadership and innovative approach propelled Cutix Plc to great heights, earning him the nickname “Oziuzo-Nnewi.” He served as CEO and board chairman until his retirement in 2011, leaving behind a legacy of excellence and integrity.
Throughout his illustrious career, Uzodike received numerous accolades for his contributions to Nigeria’s industrial development. His passing leaves a void in the business community, but his impact will continue to inspire generations to come.
